PARENTS & STUDENTS WELCOME TO THE 2020 NFTE BIZCAMP
Parents, the camp will still occur! We are collaborating with the children’s trust to develop an engaging, online experience for students to collaborate and learn from industry experts that will address social distancing guidelines. All students have the opportunity to earn a $200 stipend for ongoing engagement, participation, and completion of their startup pitch.

Attention all students entering grades 7–12 are invited to a three-week entrepreneurship BizCamp this summer, where you will learn how to start your very own business!
This program is free of charge, thanks to the generous support of NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship). Learn more about NFTE at nfte.com. NFTE’s BizCamps are designed to unlock the entrepreneurial mindset in youth as each participant builds a full plan for an original business idea of their own. NFTE’s award-winning entrepreneurship program, features themes of leadership, leveraging inspirational entrepreneurs as guest speakers and activities focused on confidence-building. This summer session will help students gain the confidence and skills they need to become the CEOs of their future. |
The experiential entrepreneurship program activities include group work, individual learning, field trips, a selling event, and a business plan competition. Local business leaders and entrepreneurs will coach all students as they create business plans and practice problem-solving flexibility, collaboration, critical thinking, comfort with risk, and other 21st Century workforce development skills. Participants also receive a stipend for participation and engagement in the camp to help launch their businesses.
